"The goody bags of toys, games and gifts are amazing and will make a huge difference to so many children in our care. We can’t thank you enough."
East Kent NHS Trust
The objectives of The Sophie Foundation are very simple; to help and directly support as many sick children and children in need as possible across the UK and in whatever way we can. Our buying power and charity status means we can secure and source many of the items we need at a fraction of the retail and trade cost, meaning every penny we raise goes even further!
Some of our most recent projects have included;
200 Goody Bags stuffed full of toys, games and goodies distributed to 200 children across Scotland affected by Cancer and Leukaemia.
65 disabled and special needs children attending a Winter Wonderland experience for Christmas.
A week of activities and entertainment for disabled and special needs children at a day centre in Hampshire.
175 Goody bags stuffed full of toys, games and goodies distributed to the children’s wards at Ashford, Margate and Canterbury hospitals through the East Kent NHS Charitable Trust.
A fully adapted disabled trike/bike for The Blind School, Edinburgh, enabling the children in their care to have the freedoms and experiences that so many of us take for granted.
50 high quality Nike footballs given to The Beacon School for children with special needs - supporting all 360 children at the school.
The Sophie Foundation is regulated by The Charities Commission for England and Wales (registered charity number 1184463).
